About The Daily Grind Fitness | Conshohocken, PA
Studio and Personal Training Sessions
The Daily Grind Fitness, located in the heart of Conshohocken Pa, opened in 2008 by its Founder and Owner Jerome Robinson. Jerome founded the studio to provide high quality personal training services on the very best equipment within an intimate and personalized setting to promote healthy living.
There are three fitness rooms at the studio along with a changing/shower room stocked with various amenities. All of the fitness rooms are equipped with air conditioning, stereos and exercise equipment. We recognize that many clients enjoy training to their own music and we provide XM Satellite Radio and you have the ability to plug your iPhone into the stereos to play your favorite workout playlists.
Fitness Room #1:
This room has two treadmills, a elliptical machine and a stair climber in it. These machines are compatible with the Polar heart rate monitors and if you have one, we encourage you to wear it.
Fitness Room #2:
This room is used for a number of free-form exercises (without machines) for our personalized stretching sessions, and features our rowing machine. The floor in this room is made of Mondo® Athletic Flooring, a high-end flooring material used in the Olympics on elite running tracks and in volleyball courts. A Mondo floor is the best flooring for athletes to work out on. It’s durable, shock absorbent, prevents injury by 25%, and is resistant to sweat and bacteria. You will notice the difference working out on it.
Fitness Room #3:
This room’s floor is divided between AstroTurf® and Mondo® flooring. We also keep a number of Keiser exercise machines in this room such as the Keiser Air250 Standing Hip, Air300 Runner, Air250 Seated Chest Press, and the Air300 Squat. For over 30 years, Keiser has been changing the way people of diverse ages and abilities exercise, while helping to improve performance and quality of life. Keiser equipment is cutting edge. The products have been involved in over 80 peer reviewed and published research studies on strength training and its effect on aging, making it the undisputed leader in serving the needs of an aging population. Keiser machines are athletes’ first choice. They are essential for developing strength and power, allowing athletes to train at explosive speeds.
- The Air250 Standing Hip machine offers hip flexion, extension, adduction and abduction.
- The Air300 Runner which is a unique and innovative product designed to allow athletes to train the lower body for power by using the components of speed and resistance. Developed specifically for sports teams to improve acceleration and explosive power, this unit will improve the power and performance of any individual looking for a competitive edge.
- The Air250 Seated Chest Press which ranges from 0 – 270 lbs / 0 – 122 kg. This seated chest press has been designed to closely model the movement of a standard free-weight bench press by pivoting the exercise arms above the head. Resistance is adjusted at anytime during the workout with thumb buttons located on each hand-grip.
- Kaiser’s Air300 Squat combines low impact technology with the ability to move safely at higher speeds. The result is unmatched, explosive power which is the key to superior athletic performance.
